Privacy Statement

CRIV is structured around minimal identity and minimal retained delivery content.

CRIV is built as a private encrypted relay, not a public social platform. The service is intended to collect only the information needed to operate sender accounts, support receiver workflows, process billing, and secure the platform.

  • Registration requires email address and password only.
  • No name or public profile is required to use CRIV.
  • Contacts may be stored under aliases chosen by the client.
  • Delivery files are intended to be deleted from CRIV-controlled storage after successful decryption.
How CRIV handles data
CRIV may store account data such as email address, password hash, trial dates, billing status, account state, password reset records, support requests, and security-related event records needed to operate the service.
A client may choose to store a contact alias, email address, optional WhatsApp number, and the key or key hint used for a private exchange. The alias does not need to be a real name.
For sender billing, CRIV may store BTC payment references, transaction IDs, trial dates, payment status, and related administrative notes needed to activate or review an account. CRIV requires the full BTC amount after fees and one blockchain confirmation for activation.
CRIV is designed so that once a file delivery has been successfully decrypted, the related encrypted and decrypted file copies on CRIV-controlled server storage should be deleted. If those file copies no longer remain on CRIV-controlled storage, CRIV should have no retained file content from that delivery to retrieve, review, or disclose later.
Any service may receive requests for information. CRIV's privacy position is to minimize what remains stored. Where CRIV no longer retains a file copy from a delivery, CRIV should have no retained file content from that deleted delivery to produce later. This statement does not mean that operational records, account records, billing records, or support records never exist.
If a sender chooses email, WhatsApp, or another delivery channel, that channel may process the message link or delivery notification under its own policies. CRIV does not control how third-party platforms handle their own network logs, account data, or transport metadata.
